During my recent festive escape to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at the Caledonian, located just a short stroll from the bustling Plaça Catalunya. The hotel offered a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, with spacious, sunny rooms featuring large balconies that provided stunning views of the city-I loved unwinding there after a day of exploring. The attention to cleanliness was exceptional, and the housekeeping staff deserve special mention for their dedicated service each day, ensuring a very pleasant atmosphere. While the breakfast may not have been extensive, the delicious daily pastries were a delightful start to the morning. The location couldn't have been better; with Universitat Metro Station nearby, getting around was a breeze. Whether you're a solo travel enthusiast like me or exploring with friends, the Caledonian stands out as a remarkable base for uncovering the charms of Barcelona's vibrant heart.
